Prayer for our Nation
The National Black Catholic Apostolate for Life invites you to join the Priests for Life in a novena of weeks leading to Election Day. Through our prayers and good works for life let us support this novena prepared by Priests for Life, who are affiliates of the
National Black Catholic Apostolate for Life.
Together we can make a difference in the name of Life.
In making decisions for the unborn,
the sick, the aging, and the dying,
God, the giver of life, strengthen us to choose life.
The rationale for this novena has been clearly stated by Priests for Life:
“the intentions of this prayer campaign include the following:
a) That in this year’s elections, our nation will embrace the moral values of a culture of life.
b) That America will reclaim her founding principles of faith and dependence upon God in public life. c) That believers will reject apathy and take an active role in the elections by registering to vote and actually voting.
d) That candidates will understand their responsibility to serve the people, to protect life and family, and to adhere to the law of God.”
